A busy month and it's only half over

August has been such a busy month so I'll warn you that there are a lot of pictures and videos (I can't get the videos to post, I'll try later) I want to share. We started the month off by celebrating Travis' 30th birthday. Travis and I went to dinner at St. Elmo to celebrate. Travis' Aunt Barb decorated our house in black balloons.
Next we went to visit the Archer family in their new house in Danville, they moved the same time we did. Aiden and Nolan had so much fun playing together. They took turns pushing each other on the lion around the house.
Ryan with the boys
After the playdate with Aiden we celebrated Grandma Nobe's 80th birthday along with the other August birthdays in the family.
Last weekend we went to the Roberts' house for a cookout. It was the first time we have been able to get all the kids together, it was fun to watch them interact and play.
Jen and Grady (4 months), Amer and Kensley (9 month), Nolan and me (10 months)
We also went to the State Fair with Josh and Malana. The new food was the donught burger. Every year Josh tries the latest and greatest so he couldn't pass on the donught burger, he said it was delicious, I think I'll pass.
Nolan being a trooper, it was about 95 degrees
Nolan on his first carousel ride, he and I also rode the big slide
As of last week one of Nolan's new favorite activities is to push anything he can around the house. He started by pushing the bar stool around the kitchen.
Then graduated to pushing his highchair from the kitchen to the living room, not a short distance! So proud of himself
Last Friday we had a kid-free night! We went on our yearly limo ride with our friends. 2 years running someone in our group has one a free limo ride, hopefully someone will win one this year.
Last Saturday we celebrated Gammy's 80th birthday. We had a big party for her at her house, she had a wonderful turn out and it was fun to see everyone.
Nolan with his proud Grandparents
Big stuff
