3 months

Last Friday Nolan turned 3 months old.  I know I say this every time, but I can't believe how fast time flies.  The sad part of Nolan turning 3 months is that my maternity leave was over and I had to go back to work.  This week has been very tough, I've missed Nolan like crazy.  Luckily I work for a wonderful company that has let me ease into coming back full time.  Today I took Nolan to the doctor, he now weighs 14 pounds. He has been spitting up a lot after he eats, turns out he has acid reflux and is on liquid prilosec twice a day.  The doctor said he should grow out of this by the time he is 6 - 9 months old, we are keeping at fingers crossed.

This month Nolan has become so alert, he is seeing more and more everyday and he definitely knows who his mom and dad are.  It's so fun when he looks at you and smiles because he knows you are his mom & dad.  Nolan is also talking and laughing non-stop, it is so much fun to see how happy he is.  The best is when he wakes up in the morning and is smiling and talking and not screaming at you.  Nolan is also trying to sit up by himself, we haven't had any luck yet, but he is very determined.  We have him sit in his bumbo seat every day to try and make him stronger.

Nolan now loves bath time, this week he has figured out if he kicks his feet in the tub that he can splash water all over the place.  It is so funny to watch him because he just cracks up.  He still doesn't like it when I put lotion on him after his bath, we are taking baby steps, maybe next month.

Here's Nolan in his first robe at my parent's house.  He looks like a future Hugh Hefner, watch out girls!

Last Tuesday Katie and Aiden came over for a play date.  This was the first time they actually realized the other one was there.  They had a blast playing in their exersaucers and talking to eachother.

Aiden loved the camera

Nolan spent New Year's Eve in Greensburg with my parents, it was so nice of them to watch he and Dierks so we could go to Louisville with our friends.  Nolan celebrated by wearing his tuxedo shirt onesie, thanks Angie!
