Nolan's Baptism

It has been a very busy, but fun weekend. We had Nolan baptized today at St. Louis De Montfort in Fishers this afternoon. We are very fortunate that our families were able to join us on this special day. Gigi (Grandma Griffith) made Nolan's baptismal gown. We really appreciate her doing that for him and it was very special that she and Grandpa were able to be here from Florida to witness his baptism. Justin and Lauran are Nolan's godparents, he is very lucky to have godparents that love him so much. After the baptism we had our family over for lunch. Thanks to Grandma and Nana for making the lunch for everyone. We have the best family!

Happy Thanksgiving

We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! My grandparents flew in on Tuesday from Florida to join us for Nolan's first Thanksgiving. We have had great visit with them and they have really enjoyed getting to meet their first great-grandson. We had my family over to our house for Thanksgiving, it was a great day full of eating, visiting, and planning our Black Friday shopping route.

Happy Early Birthday Jenson!

Friday, November 27 Jenson turns 4! I can't believe how quickly the years have gone by. Saturday we celebrated Jenson's Batman themed birthday at Recreation Unlimited with he and his friends from school. It was a lot of fun to watch to watch he and friends run around and play. After the birthday party we went to Jenson's house to watch him open his presents. He is a very blessed boy and got lots of exciting gifts. We had a great day with the family and I also got to sneak in a nap at Cam and Joey's while everyone else took care of Nolan, it was much needed.

The kid's finally meet!

Friday evening we had our friends over for dinner. Nolan, Aiden and Helaina met for the first time, we celebrated Megan's 28th birthday and Kim, Randy and Helaina were in town from Michigan. We had such a great time together, I wish we could have all of us get together more often.

1 Month Appointment and Meeting Nolan's Future Girlfriend

Last Wednesday Nolan had his 1 month check-up. He is as healthy as can be and is growing like a weed. Nolan now weighs 9 lbs. 15.5 oz. and is 22 inches long, he is in the 50th percentile for babies his age. He also got his second Hepatitis B shot. He did not like the shot at all and cried so hard he made me tear up. We go back December 4 for his 2 month check-up.

Nolan's future girlfriend Kensley Elise Roberts made her debut into the world November 4, 2009. We went to the hospital to visit her. She was a healthy 8 lbs. 3 oz. and 20 1/4 inches long. She is absolutely adorable! Jeremy was dreading these two meeting because he knows he will be paying for the wedding later!

Happy Halloween and Happy Birthday Grandpa

Nolan would like to wish his Grandpa a Happy Halloween Birthday! We are looking forward to celebrating with you next weekend. Hope you enjoyed your weekend in Dale Hollow.

Here are some pictures of Nolan's first Halloween as a ghost. We were supposed to go see Jenson in his costume (Scooby Doo), but he has a cold and Aunt Joey had a sore throat so we decided not to go visit them and chance getting Nolan sick. Instead, we spent the evening with Grandma and her friend Diane. We went shopping at the mall and out for dinner. We had a great evening with them, Nolan is a great shopper, he slept the entire time!

This past week Nolan and I had a big milestone. Travis went on his first work trip since we've had Nolan. He went to Las Vegas, he was there this past Thursday - Saturday. Nolan, Dierks, and I survived our first time staying home alone (with some help from Nana and Grandma of course!) Daddy did make it home just in time to snap a Halloween picture.
