Nolan's Nursery

Travis and our friend Dave painted the nursery a couple of weekends ago. It looks great and we can't wait for Nolan to see his nursery! Below are a couple of pictures of the nursery in progress, we still looking for something to put above the crib. It's a little hard to see what the colors look like in the picture, but they are chocolate brown, greenish yellow and light blue.

Congratulations to Katie and Ryan on their 4th Wedding Anniversary. We are so happy for you and we can't wait to meet Baby Archer in August!

Happy Father's Day!

I know this is a few days late, but we wanted to thank our dad's again for being such a great fathers! This past weekend was packed full of fun. Travis surprised me with tickets on Friday to see Wicked at the Murat Theater and we went to dinner in Broad Ripple at Momma Corollas for my birthday. On Saturday we went to Greensburg to celebrate Father's Day. We had a great time with my family and Dierks and Haley wore each other out playing all night long. On Sunday we had Travis' family over to celebrate Father's Day. It was a beautiful day and we had a lot of fun getting to spend time with everyone.

24 Week Appointment

We just got back from our 24 week appointment. The baby's heartbeat is in the 150's and is beating strong. They measured my stomach for the first time and I'm growing right on track. I finally had an appointment where I gained some weight, 8 pounds to be exact. This puts my total weight gain for my pregnancy at 10.6 pounds. All in all it was a great appointment and we go back July 16 for our next check-up.

St. Louis/Burns Wedding

Last weekend we went to St. Louis for Brad and Sheri's wedding. We had a blast! On Friday night we went to the Cardinal's game, it was a lot of fun and the stadium was beautiful. Saturday morning we got up and went on the Anheuser-Busch Brewery Tour, it was really neat to see the process. At the end of the tour everyone got to sample 2 different types of beer. I discovered O'Douls Amber, it's not to shabby for non-alcoholic beer. Saturday night we went to Brad and Sheri's wedding. They had a beautiful wedding and we are really happy for them. It was a really fun, busy and tiring weekend, but we enjoyed the weekend getaway!

How Stuff's Made

The Discovery Channel came to Travis' work this week to shoot a taping of How Stuff's Made, a new show premiering this the Fall on the Discovery Channel. They shot a show on how a custom race seat is made. Stay tuned to find out when the show is airing. Check out Travis in action!

Halfway There

As many of you know Travis and I are expecting our first baby in October. We found out 2 weeks ago we are having a little boy! We are very excited and getting ready to decorate the nursery in a couple of weeks, pictures will come soon! Please follow us on our journey to parenthood. Above is a picture of me at 20 weeks.
