We recently took Nolan on his 1st vacation to Florida. Travis attended the annual PRI tradeshow in Orlando. Nolan and I tagged along for fun and to visit family. The flight out there was wonderful, Nolan slept the first half of the flight and then he woke up and talked to us for awhile and then ate. Before we knew it we were back on the ground and survived our first flight! Nolan is a great baby so we weren't worried about how he would do, but you just never know. We are very lucky to have such a great baby.
We started out our vacation by spending the first night in Orlando. We checked into our hotel and ventured to Downtown Disney for dinner. Nolan got to try on his first set of Mickey ears, too cute. He slept through most of Downtown Disney, I think traveling wore him out.

The next day we went to Sea World to see Shamu! I've always loved marine animals so I was very excited to go to Sea World. We had a great day, the weather was perfect (80 degrees). Again, Nolan slept through most of the day, but Travis and I had so much fun. We went to the dolpin show, played with stingrays, checked out the penguins and the sharks, watched dolpins underwater (my favorite), wathced the manatee's swim around and ended the day with Shamu.
After our day at Sea World and headed to Lakeland where my Auntie Colleen and Unlce Brad live, we stayed here for the remainder of our trip. We had such a great visit with our family in Florida. Nolan got meet 6 more of his cousins, 2 of his great-aunts and 2 of his great-uncles. I definitely didn't think that we would have been able to introduce Nolan to everyone at 10 weeks, but we are very fortunate. We were also very lucky that Nolan slept 9 - 10 hours each night we were in Florida. Unbelieveable, he was only sleeping 6 hours before we left, now he is sleeping 7 - 9 hours a night, it's awesome!

We ended our trip by going to the Magic Kingdom with Nana and Pac Pac. Travis' parents were in Florida because they brought his grandma down for the winter. The Magic Kingdom was great! I haven't been there in 10 years. You definitely feel like a kid again as soon as you step into the park. Surprsingly, Nolan was able to ride every ride with us besides Space Mountain and Thunder Mountain. He won't remember the day, but Travis and I will and we have plenty of pictures to show him one day.

This trip was a great way to end my maternity leave. I'm not looking forward to going back to work, but I know it will be good to get back into an everyday routine. I'm really going to miss hanging out with my little man everyday, the past 3 months have been the best!
