1 Month Old

Today Nolan is 1 month old! Time sure does fly by when you are having fun! I have to be honest I never thought the first couple of weeks were ever going to end, but they did and Nolan is sleeping more at night. Nolan has changed so much since the day we met him. He is growing and changing everyday. We have his 1 month doctor's appointment on Wednesday, I can't wait to hear how much he has grown. Here are a few things Nolan has started doing in the past month.

• He is smiling more
• He is beginning to see more
• He is more alert to what is going on around him
• He can follow a rattle back and forth
• He is eating 4 oz. at a time
• He is becoming more vocal
• He has slept in his crib the past 4 nights and has gone back to sleep after the middle of the night feeding (this is huge for me!)

Introducing Mr. and Mrs. Litton

This past weekend we had the pleasure of celebrating Justin and Allison's wedding. Friday night we went to the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner at the Broad Ripple Steakhouse (delicious)!

The wedding was Saturday, October 24, they had the perfect beautiful fall day, I can't wait to see their pictures. The wedding was at the Methodist Church on Merdian Street and the reception was at the Allison Mansion at Marian College. Everything was perfect!

Nolan got to spend a lot of quality time with both sets of grandparents. Travis' parents watched him on Friday night for us and my parents watched him Saturday night. As much as I missed my little man all weekend, Travis and I had a great time going out and spending time with our friends.

Nolan Ray Cobb

First, I would like to apologize it's taken me so long to post pictures of Noaln, it has been a crazy, wonderful, sleepless 2 weeks.

Nolan was born Friday, October 2, 2009 at 7:10 p.m. He was 20 1/2 inches long and 8 lbs. 5 oz. Travis and I went into the hospital at 6:30 a.m. to be induced. They started my pitocin at 9:00 a.m., I was in labor for 10 hours and pushed the last hour. Everything went really smoothly, I don't think I could have asked for a better labor/delivery. We came home on Sunday, Ocotber 4.

When we left the hospital the pediatrician was watching him closely because he was a bit janudice. We saw the pediatrician last Tuesday to have his bilirubin levels tested and they had gone up from 12.8 Sunday to 20 on Tuesday. Unfortunatley we ended up back in the hospital in the pediatrics unit for 1 night while Nolan laid under the bilirubin lights, it looked like he was tanning. Wednesday we came home from the hospital, his levels were back down to an 11.8.
We went to the pediatrician yesterday to have Nolan weighed and he is doing a good job gaining weight, he now weighs 8 lbs. 3 oz. He had lost half a pound, but he is almost back to his birth weight.

It's hard to believe that tomorrow he will be 2 weeks old! Time has flown by and we are enjoying every minute with him. Alicia Monahan (our wedding photographer) is coming to our house tomorrow to take his newborn pictures so stay tuned. Thanks to everyone that has come to visit, we appreciate all the love and support we have received.
